Community Meals, Inc. is a private non-profit meals-on-wheels service organization that delivers nutritious meals to the homebound Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. Volunteers deliver the meals between 11:30am and 12:30pm.
Those who are ill or disabled, even temporarily, and who are unable to prepare or obtain meals for themselves qualify for this service.
Each mid-day delivery consists of one hot meal and one cold meal. The food is prepared by The Valley Dining Department of The Valley Hospital and delivered to our kitchen at Christ Church in Ridgewood.
Meals cost $4.90 for each hot and $4.50 for each cold. Bills are sent monthly. CMI does offer a Client Assistance program that provides financial subsidies to those unable to pay the cost of meals. Clients may qualify for free meals under this program.
To arrange for delivery service, please review our CLIENT INFORMATION document and either complete the online inquiry form (at left) or call our office at 201-447-8295.
